EMPIRE SCOUT
Terms of service
These terms govern access to Empire Scout memberships, the browser extension, and Discord bot features.
Membership access
Access is licensed to one Discord account and, for extension features, one active browser device. You may not resell, share, automate resale of, or bypass account and device limits.
Plan access
Empire Member provides extension-only access and may use the Discord membership-status command, but does not include Discord scouting, ScoutWR, Team Search, or other gated bot tools. Pro includes unlimited Scout, ScoutWR, and Team Search reports; Tour Scout is excluded. Manager includes Tour Scout and the ability to add members to detected extension team searches. Attempts to evade access controls or disrupt the service may result in suspension.
Subscriptions
Memberships are purchased and managed through PayPal in USD. Pricing, applicable tax, renewal dates, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation are shown by PayPal. Members must sign in to Empire Scout with Discord before checkout so the verified PayPal subscription activates the correct account.
Developer API access
API subscriptions and owner-issued API gifts are separate from extension and Discord memberships. API Scout costs $5 per month for 250 scout requests; API Pro costs $10 per month for 500 scouts and 100 team searches. Allowances reset by UTC calendar month, independently of the subscription renewal date. Unused requests do not roll over. Each account may hold one active secret API key, which must stay on a trusted backend. Keys may not be shared with other developers. Rate, concurrency and usage limits apply. Successful empty searches count toward usage; failed API requests do not. API cancellation and key revocation do not cancel extension memberships.
Service availability
Tournament and replay data can be incomplete or change at its source. Empire Scout is provided as an analytical aid and does not guarantee that every replay, identity association, set, or inference is complete.
Responsible use
Empire Scout is a read-only research companion. It does not control Pokémon Showdown, issue battle commands, access private replays, or bypass technical controls. Customers are responsible for following Pokémon Showdown rules and every tournament organizer’s rules. If an event prohibits real-time assistance or external scouting, customers must disable the extension’s automatic search features and use Empire Scout only outside that event.
Independence
Empire Scout is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pokémon, Nintendo, Game Freak, The Pokémon Company, Smogon, or Pokémon Showdown.
